Nature Spirits and Earth Angels.

Nature Spirits and Earth Angels.

A few years ago, when I started to focus on the connections to the Deva’s or Nature Spirits of this area, I started to ask the Spirits of the forest to give me what I needed, but not to take unnecessarily. After all, I was told by before by them to merge with their consciousness, and “Ask and ye shall receive.”

So I asked them for help as I wanted large flat rocks for the walls of a dwelling I was building in the forest. Perhaps they could show me the ones they wanted me to have, or where I could go.

It would have looked quite strange from an outside observer’s point of view, talking and asking permission from a rock to see whether I could make a new home for them at my place and if they wanted to come live with me. But since I was primarily alone and no one could see me, I just ran away with my own folly, just for my own saving grace. I then forgot about asking for this and just got on with things.

A week later as I was heading out of the forest on the dirt road when I noticed a large rock in the middle of the way that was not there before. Now I knew where every pot hole, blind corner and corrugation was in front of my travels. When to slow down and when it was free to move a little quicker, so it was not like that I was unaware of any unexpected road conditions. I came home a different way that afternoon, as there is a few ways in and out, when I noticed another one in the middle of the road.

“A perfect flat rock that I need for my floor” I thought to myself.         “Easy to pick up as well”

I stopped and backed up the truck and loaded it in and thought nothing of it, except that it was two foot long by one foot. It could not have been scuffed up by a wheel as it was too big, yet it was just there and there was no embankment for it to roll down.

For the next few weeks the same thing kept reoccurring. I thought, ‘Great, perfect sized rocks for my floor’, so I started collecting them like a squirrel on the hunt for nuts in summer to stash away for winter.

After six weeks of gathering, I met Lisa, my nearest neighbour, on the side of the road and we sparked up the bush telegraph, relating updated news from neighbours amongst other things. Then she said to me out of the blue,

‘Have you noticed all the rocks on the road lately Will?”

          My skin started to prickle.

“Well, yes, I have. Why, have you?”

My brain started to search for something like a computer trying to find a file, searching for a compatible link.

“Yes. It’s great isn’t it! I just stop the truck and load them up. They are perfect for us as we need rocks for our house wall.”

“Hang on a minute!” I exclaimed.

A quantum leap was about to occur.

“I’m building a house too and I asked for them” I said consciously, but sub consciously, the answer was working its way inside me, ready to explode.

          Lisa just smiled and said,

“Well, I guess I have been asking as well.”

          “Who are you asking?”

“Well no one in particular,  I just want someone to help me get them.”

“Well how about you collect them from your side of the river, and I will collect from mine.”

We both laughed and made a deal and drove off.

Then the quantum leap flashed like lightning into my clouded thoughts.

          “Deva’s,”

I remembered I had been asking for these perfect, large,  flat sized rocks over six weeks ago and perhaps it was they who have put them on my path. No way, I thought. My mind was reeling at this revelation. Can they do this? No way possible! How can something intangible move solid material? No way imaginable I thought.

But then I considered, why not? I know nothing about them anyway to have a reference point to even start from. It was bewildering and strange. It felt like a wonderful connection was starting to take place. How else could it be explained?

My sceptic mind kicked in and started to squash all irrational patterns, but I have learn that sometimes the mind is a little trickster as well like a naughty monkey playing games. No one else knew that I was asking for rocks and I doubt whether someone would co incidentally right at that point in my life have enough time to go placing large flat rocks on the road just for the fun of it.

The strange thing was that the phenomena stopped when I had exactly enough rocks, and only I knew.

Knowing from within was forming in the cells of my being, unspoken but resonating as if to say ‘Yes’, but trying to get it from a perceptive feeling to thought; conceptualizing and formatting it into logic was a different process altogether.

Like learning a new language or something not taught to you before where you have no grasp of it.

Like an indigenous man seeing an airplane land from the sky with men stepping out of it. Impossible. Only to some. Not really to the others who built the plane. Everything is possible to a willing mind.

Could you imagine what it must have felt like when indigenous cultures around the world first set eyes on European men in their sailing ships with guns and modern technology? The process their minds would have undertaken before they could adapt to a new way of thinking about a future that they would not have believed possible in their wildest imaginations; and what that massive shift in knowing and thinking would have felt like. To us it would be like seeing an alien spacecraft landing from the sky. This was how I was feeling as well.

I felt like Christopher Columbus, setting out into uncharted seas and invisible worlds with the collective monkey mind of the so called learned men and arrogant scepticism of their psyche saying,

“The world is flat! It is not possible. It does not fit into our known logic and maps. You will fall off the edge of the world and be eaten by sea monsters.”

Well the sceptics were wrong. Now we all believe that America exists. I started to think what the difference was here. One man dared to dream a little bit further into the unknown that was beyond than most and as a result has changed the world.

When i was a  boy i  also thought he could get down to the end of the street on my bike and back again in the middle of the night, only to return to find the rest of the world was still in slumber.

Well, what if the Nature Spirits could move the rocks, and come to think of it, give me the tree for my last two poles that I needed for my cabin.    Imagine the potential for Humankind of the future. What could we do by working with these Beings?

We could make the rain fall in drought affected areas. We could grow food crops in arid regions; food free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers which are only cancerous to the soil and ourselves, yet only economically benefit a few.

Even if it meant that all we had to do was acknowledge, “ask” and work in with these Beings or plant trees as a symbol of harmonious co-existence to give back to something whilst we are taking.

Would it be too much for a farmer to be humble enough to ask quietly to the wind whilst no one was looking to ensure his crop would not fail by simply asking for help from  Nature Spirits before he land cleared for cows, sheep, cattle or profit?

          Quite simple really.

          “Ask and ye shall receive.”

Would it be too much to assume for people living in cities that water does not come from a tap and that it actually has to fall from the sky first and that we should only take what we need?

Or that the Sun that shines divinely upon us every day as a reminder that it is the free and unlimited generator for all of our power needs, and that we do not have to plunder underground for the fuel that we are told that we need to survive because it makes economic sense?

Well, you can’t eat your money, and you’ll never miss your water until your dams are dry or polluted. And neither can our children. Unfortunately, we are all conned into believing the opposite. Yet it is only one simple thought process away.

How hard really is it at the end of the day for us humans to live in a symbiotic relationship to this planet that we dwell upon, when we doubt that there is even another like ours out there in that big beyond that we can go to.

If we accept the sceptical rational, they would have us believe at this time in our history, that apart from all the known planets we can see with our limiting telescopic devices, there is nothing that exists beyond because it has not been found nor discovered as we do not have the scientific means to measure the absolute vastness of space.

That then is great news. Because it would only prove one point to all of us. We only have one planet then to look after.

          Our home star.

The third planet from the Sun.

          Earth.

My child like explorers mind was saying; let’s see how far I can explore this invisible realm with these Earth Angels before I denounce this experience. Let’s even see if there is a back fence at all or edge of the world to fall off!

A sea of endless possibilities started to open up before me and I just knew I had to go out there and explore this new revelation… to whatever end.

  2. Hi Will: Thank you, This is an amazing story. I live my life similarly. I had a problem with the fire ants in the garden, they were eating my potato plants. My partner was ready for the toxic chemicals and I told him, no toxins in my sacred garden. I asked the fire ants spirit what to do – and they said, they were there first, they owned the place, I had to agree, I came later. I asked for a working compromise. So I started putting my compostable organic matter right into their space. They have been helping composting, breaking down the melon rinds, bringing the organic matter underground, ever since. They have not been eating my potato plants since. I have an entire army of insect helpers helping me amend the vegetable garden. I am forever grateful for their service.

  3. Hi Will,

My goodness… I really enjoyed reading this story-post! I have just been introduced to the concept of nature devas as well, but I’m still trying to bring my awareness up a notch – so that I move from thinking of them as just a concept to something that is real and experience-able.

    Thanks for sharing!
